18,000 Hours of Volunteer Service

were invested in Oregon’s trails by TKO in 2023

Give back to trails today

Legacy Builders is TKO’s annual eight-week fundraising campaign where we take the opportunity to share stories of our amazing volunteers’ service on hiking trails across the state and ask for your financial support as we look ahead to 2024.

This year, Trailkeepers made incredible contributions to city and county parks, state forests, national forests, and wilderness areas from the Portland metro area to Mt. Hood to the Oregon coast and beyond, and we can’t wait to share their accomplishments!

Donations from supporters like you make our work possible, enabling hundreds of trail stewardship and engagement activities each year. We couldn’t do this work without you, and we thank you for your support!

Weekly Raffles

Each week, donors and volunteers will be entered in a raffle for prizes from local corporate sponsors, including Pelican Brewing, Arc’teryx, Cotopaxi, REI, Cnoc Outdoors, 10 Barrel Brewing, and more!

Donate to TKO, or join us for a volunteer event during the campaign, to earn a chance to win apparel, outdoor gear, gift certificates, and more fun swag!

Legacy Keepers Matching Fund

Ready to go above and beyond to support Trailkeepers of Oregon? Join us for the Legacy Keepers Matching Fund!

The Legacy Keepers Matching Fund support’s TKO year-end fundraising efforts by matching donations received during the last week of the campaign. To get involved, you can become a fundraiser or create a team, then spread the word about the importance of trail stewardship to friends, family, and colleagues!

Donations are vitally important to Trailkeepers of Oregon as we take on more trail projects, support more volunteers, and make a greater impact across the state.

A Message from TKO’s Executive Director

Happy Holidays Trailkeepers,

The TKO Legacy Builders end-of-year campaign is coming to a close on December 31st. We are so proud that this campaign is fueled by a grassroots donor base that builds a kick start of support for a new year. Our approach continues to be that everyone in their own way is a Trailkeeper – giving time, giving passion, or giving dollars. Each of these contributions amount to more protection and enhancement of Oregon’s hiking trails.
