Please select either the AM (10 AM – 1 PM) or PM (1 PM – 4 PM) shift when registering for this event. If you would like to participate for the full 6 hours, please register for both.

Project Information:

For this trail party we will be focusing on spreading gravel in muddy spots, brushing, scouting, and storm clean up. If we notice any areas of the trail that need major work, we will map them so we can get approval to work on them during the dry season.

Hiking information:

Expect some steep/uneven ground. We will not be hiking very far, or doing anything too treacherous.

There are plenty of trails to choose from in our region, so if you want something more/less strenuous feel free to email me at trevor.bradford@trailkeepersoforegon.com a few days in advance and we can tailor the experience to your needs!

You should plan to participate in this trail party for its entirety. For safety reasons, please do not arrive late or expect to be able to leave early.

Event details:

Detailed event information, including directions to the meeting location, will be provided to registrants via email 48 hours prior to the event. If you’re volunteering for the first time, read this blog by a volunteer to know what to expect at your first trail party.

What to bring:

• Plenty of water
• Snacks/lunch
• Work gloves if you have them (loaner gloves available)
• Any medications or emergency supplies you may need
• Sunscreen + insect repellent
• A pack to bring all of this with you on trail
• TKO provides all tools and personal protective equipment (hard hats, gloves, glasses)

What to wear:

• Boots (Please wear something sturdy that will protect your toes from sharp tools. Tennis shoes are not recommended. Open-toed shoes will not be allowed.)
• Long sleeved shirts and pants
• Rain gear, insulating layers, sun protection, etc. as appropriate for the weather
