Trail Ambassadors places volunteers at popular trailheads in the Columbia River Gorge and around Mt. Hood. Volunteers come from around the region to give back to the trails they love by engaging with visitors around safety, ethical use of public lands, and Leave No Trace practices, as well as sharing opportunities for visitors to engage with local communities.
Columbia River Gorge trails available for sign-up include: Latourell Falls, Wahclella Falls, Eagle Creek, Starvation Creek State Park, Mosier Plateau, and Rowena Crest/Tom McCall Preserve. You will find these as different ticket options once you enter the TA code.
Only volunteers who have completed the online Trail Ambassador training may register. If you would like to learn more and take the online training, please visit https://trailkeepersoforegon.org/trailambassadors/or email Program Coordinator Loren Payne at firstname.lastname@example.org.
