Work Description: Gravel extraction and tread armoring

Project Overview: We will be using shovels and buckets to extract gravel from the beach and spreading the gravel on muddy sections of the trail. We will also reshape parts of the trail near the beach.

Hiking information: We will hike from the parking lot at the top, all the way down to the beach. Elevation change is about 500 feet, distance is about 0.9 miles.

What to wear:

• Comfortable closed-toed shoes (Be prepared for mud!)

• Rain gear/layers as appropriate for the weather

Directions: Will be provided to registrants 48 hours prior to the event.
