Project Information:

This trail party has morning and afternoon slots — feel free to sign up for one or the other or both!!

We’ll be cutting and drilling the timbers for stairs to be installed in Beaver Creek Canyon. There will be a variety of carpentry tasks including using power saws, hand saws, and power drills as well as measuring and marking for cuts. We’ll take turns on each activity so all get a chance to try different things.

Hiking information:

There is no hike, only a walk across the paved parking lot to the shop.

What to bring:

• Plenty of water
• Snacks/lunch
• Work gloves if you have them (loaner gloves available)
• Any medications or emergency supplies you may need
• TKO provides all tools and personal protective equipment (hard hats, gloves, glasses)

What to wear:

• Boots (Please wear something sturdy that will protect your toes from sharp tools. Tennis shoes are not recommended. Open-toed shoes will not be allowed.)
• Long sleeved shirts and pants
• Rain gear, insulating layers, sun protection, etc. as appropriate for the weather
